  1. Weird precipitation block even for today's system that was supposed to drop about an inch of rain between today and tonight. So far, tallied a whole .01" here.
  2. Still only a difference of 2.5% of the overall average. Would drop a 40” average to 38.4”.
  3. A whole difference of one third of one percent! The statistical horror! (10% difference of largest year divided by 30 year window).
  4. Fairly certain a Spring thread posted in JANUARY should automatically be filtered into the complaints thread. Yes, it's been a tough winter for snow fans, but we're literally one month into astronomical winter.
  5. WUnderground went from predicted 3.2" to 0" this morning at the last moment. Guess that's this winter.
  6. NWS updated to 1-2" up front, 1-2" for the back, with most of the regional NWS at 4-6" through Friday.
  7. TWC doesn’t like anything for Pittsburgh for sun/Monday. I seem to remember 2020 being the year of the Euro model reigning supreme even though everyone thought most of their projections were out in left field…. Might be misremembering.
  8. Down to below 10 (9F) here in Ross now. Was 31 when I woke up at 6:40am.
  9. If this is all the snow we get, it's definitely not a grey Christmas in my book. I'm happy. The wind has been brutal all morning. Definitely the highest wind I can remember in my time here (~10 years).
  10. TWC and NWS have us down to <1" now - I said I'd be happy with 1-2" on the ground when the cold came way back on page 9.... that looks like a fool's hope now.
  11. I'll go back to my original comment. White Christmas with an inch or two on the ground, anything after that is gravy.
  12. Fwiw, Wunderground seems to heavily favor the euro given it’s down to less than an inch with little precipitation on Friday.
  13. Around a surprise inch on the ground this morning. Enough to cover most of the grass.
  14. A looooot of doom and gloom in here for a chance of 3"+ of snow on the ground for Christmas.
  15. I seem to remember we want west at this point historically, but its all house money as long as there is snow on the ground on Christmas.
  16. Anywhere 2"+ with that cold will give a White Christmas. Good enough for me.
  17. Is that the one where everyone got 6-7" except the one guy who got 3" in his backyard and it ruined his winter?
  18. Seems we skipped right over window-open weather with Mid 80's on 9/20 then crashing afterwards. Interesting switch this year.
  19. Quite a wonderful stretch we're having. I'd prefer upper 60's/low 70's so I could air the house out a bit more, but this is really nice.
