  1. Already 4 to 7 inches in central nj, that model wrong.
  2. 6 to 8 inches of snow over my house, I don't see much over northern areas (compared to previous storms) . You guys will be relying on the second batch of snow and it is not significant given no cut off upper low.
  3. The second batch will be so so tomorrow , i wouldnt rely on it. NYC will jackpot watch. The heaviest snow is running just slightly north of the models.
  4. You not getting that? What model has more than 3 to 4 inches over you. If anything observed banding on the northern edge = subsidence where you are.
  5. https://gyazo.com/455217016b2d182fc0c5e1100ba8f8a7 Nice totals 4 to 6 inches already there.
  6. That yellow band will be jackpotted. Model bust there.
  7. https://gyazo.com/82260af707c698fc703d6a943548a581 Parkway by Asbury Park getting hit hard in the band. Areas west of there have 4 to 6 inches already.
  8. 06z nam didn't have a flake till 13z In the areas getting hit hard right now . This tells me the warm layer will come in faster due to stronger warm advection. Also expect heavier totals by 17z and southern areas of NYC will see totals of 5 to 6 inches b4 sleet at 12pm.
  9. Coastal nj snow band moving north . That should coincide with the heavy lift. Yellows oranges coming .
  10. Half inch to 2 inches for the boroughs, though i doubt it sticks given weak rates predicted on the models. Next 2 threats look good.
  11. maybe even higher, better lift and better cold air at mid levels.
  12. If you can get the 1.3 qpf here , this becomes 10 to 15 inches. You will see the ratios are gona be good. Ratios are due to the lifting and mid level temps. Last storm had 700 mb temps minus 3 to 4. This one is minus 10 and similar mid level lift. Watch out.
  13. Ratios look higher than 1:10 . Strong lifting with 700 mb temps minus 10. 1 inch qpf would squeeze out 12 inch of snow not 10. Very
  14. Looks like this low is a few mb stornger maybe gona add a few inches on top of that
  15. http://www.meteo.psu.edu/fxg1/NARR/2002/012006.png 500 mb looks similar to the Raiders/Patriots snow game in 2002 Jan 20. Low pressure to hw nw of the coastal, with high to the ne.
