  1. Ridge is kicking our ass! Nothing on radar though to raise hopes right now, albeit Upton remains relatively bullish
  2. Yeah. Brick wall in place.
  3. One down, more to come. Blocking is too legit to quit. Until the ridge moves far enough east, expect the dry stretch to continue
  4. Bulk of the moisture offshore to our south appears to be sliding NE further away from the coast. Assume it’s being shunted by the ridging, see if that translates into a drier day tomorrow.
  5. Skies have essentially cleared, just very thin overcast periods. Refreshing east wind. See if things moisten up into the overnight. That’s what she said……
  6. HP means business. Cloud deck gradually being nudged south, with clearing to my north. Leads me to think that the drier models will end up being right, but we shall see
  7. Not bullish at all for tomorrow, likely location dependent. After that it’s bone dry for the foreseeable future
  8. Nothing against that, but there’s also respecting the neighbors. Several people have called them out for the noise
  9. In their warped minds, by telling us that they are obnoxious somehow justifies their behavior, and we should just accept it. To which I give it a big fat NO. I’m relentless in my quest to make them STFU
  10. Bingo. When they introduced themselves to us, they literally warned us that they’re obnoxious, and man they are. Screaming kids, and music so loud that I can hear it over my TV. Luckily we have local code enforcement, who are on speed dial!
  11. Lol. My disdain for the general populace is legit. Nice call on the 4pm shutoff btw
  12. Lots of rolling thunder, but only light rain atm. Should be out in the next thirty minutes.
  13. Very disappointing. I’m most surprised at how far off the forecasted duration will be for this “event”. Neighbor has three tyrants for kids, and I was thrilled to think I’d get a break from their screaming in their pool! Not so lucky
  14. Hope rapidly deteriorating for anything significant. Quick shower or sprinkles looking more likely for LI. Somehow the forks will do much better
  15. Yeah, after another look 4 seems plausible. Upton disco half agrees, early evening. Point and click is completely different
  16. Boo Which probably means 6pm IMBY. I’m still full sun, temp 82
  17. NWS has rain through tomorrow morning. Radar seems to be telling a much different story.
  18. SW Suffolk doing very well for once. Sprinklers are off
  19. Buckets falling, lots of thunder. Definitely one of the better starts for storm season here
  20. Pouring in brightwaters
  21. Line forming in Nassau. Hopefully holds
  22. Looking like a quick shower for most of LI. Ain’t gonna get it done
  23. Looking good for metro, not so much out here in SW Suffolk
  24. CM is nice. He had a crew of friends from Binghamton U that worked at 6. Everyone graduated this year, so most moved on. We live in brightwaters, so RM is perfect. agree, we need a few rounds of rain to find the spots that the sprinklers miss
  25. What field? Son was at JB6, but switched over to RM3 this year
