As of 651am KNYC KJFK KEWR all reported 33.1° as their mins. Maybe KNYC briefly dropped lower after that time. KLGA 34°.
KTEB was 32°.

Meanwhile back on LI, after a break in the overcast around 930am, quick- 2-minute- downpour just dropped 0.05", bringing total up to 0.74". Would expect to exceed 1 " here.
Totally agree. Hostile environment. So if the 5pm Scatterometer analysis does not find Tropical-Storm force winds, will it attain or tie a record for the shortest-lived named storm?
