    NAM is back some I would not trust HRRR at moment, then again let's see with NAM. The 18z looks more reasonable.

    HRRRR doing horrible job with precip. Never caught up with trends and obs. Checked webcams and it is snowing in NC mtns----NW. Hasn't done well at all most the day.

    Do recall when we had the storm, I think it was 2000---- that did nothing? I thought it had a similar Upper Air pattern...but many years ago. At least phasing was the issue I recall.

    GSP is taking this potential storm seriously with their point forecasts this far out. I clicked on Davie Co. Friday NightA 50 percent chance of snow after 7pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 15. SaturdayA 40 percent chance of snow before 5pm. The snow could be heavy at times. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 24. I highlighted the heavy snow

    It is easy to be caught up in precipitation maps.
