Can’t you see though how it would seem unlikely that you always have less snow than a mere 10 miles away?
That is incredibly unlikely to be, every time without fail, lower than every other location in the county. Couldn’t you just have expectations that are way too high and you stay disappointed when they aren’t reached?
It was windy, with untrained spotters. Totals were probably better than reported.
What’s crazy is you are flipping sh*t as heavy snow is falling region wide. Just look out the window and enjoy.
We’re only a few inches behind average for snow, and had a 9” storm. Not every winter has 60”.
This month has been 2.5 degrees colder than normal and so far snowier than normal. What more can you realistically want?
Anyway, snowing pretty good here.
That's wild.
The radar looks fine, maybe more north than expoected, but Pittsburgh and Allegheny County should be firmly in accumulating snow. Let's just enjoy it today. 1-3, 2-4, whatever it will be nice.
GFS has been better this year, lol. Maybe that's it. 24th-25th was a period mentioned for possibly something.
He's also keeps PM snow for Sunday too. Not sure why?
Also the “torch” is one day. Not like we got 9” then a week of 50. We got 9”, then 45 for one day two days after, then 10-20 below normal. It happens, I wouldn’t think this is so unusual.
They’re 15-20 below average, that’s always big cold. We can’t expect to have -10 every year. Ironically, today is the anniversary of our coldest temperature ever -22. That’s massive cold. But I’d say near 0 is always big cold.
