  1. While the GFS has a very pronounced cool period. Wild swings. I'd side more with a more conservative version of the Euro at this point. Not as warm as it is saying but not as cool as the GFS.
  2. Interestingly, the Euro now towards the end of next week wants to pump in the heat again. GFS showed 100s for around the 13th yesterday (gone today). Euro is in the upper 90s for the 9th. Overdone, likely, but something to watch, maybe?
  3. Summers honestly do not seem to be getting warmer, lol.
  4. July 1995 was the official last 100 reading for Pittsburgh. We got close in 2012 with a 98 degree reading in July.
  5. My fear, and I know it will be the outcome, is I have my church's annual festival all next week. It's been so dry, it has to break and I know it will break Sunday or Monday next week. If we can squeeze out one more totally dry week that would help me, lol.
  6. Euro, consistently putting our some real heat for Friday and Saturday. They have potentially mid 90s. So...maybe a real shot at 90 one of those days.
  7. Interesting. That Spring dry spell record could fall. Where did you get this information, would be interested to poke around with it?
  8. Is there anywhere that talks about our longest dry spells? Watching the news they're showing no rain through at least next Thursday, that should put us around two weeks of no rain. Just curious, never saw any stats on that.
  9. Interesting. I believe the record is safe though, lol. Though Euro is flirting with 90+ from Tuesday to Thursday.
  10. I mean, we know it won't it that high. Wait, you mean it's never reached 92 at the airport in May?
  11. Looks like Euro is pumping up the heat next week. It's flirting with a mini heat wave. That will probably be scaled back once we get closer, but mid-upper 80s look possible, at least now.
  12. Dry, sunny and 75...can't get much better. Definitely doesn't look to be sunny and 75 today, as it pours downtown, lol.
  13. Looks like it'll be pretty dry and warm the next few weeks.
  14. Had no idea there was a wildfire. Though it would explain the red sun this morning.
  15. Interestingly, today doesn't seem to be warming like yesterday did. Cloudier too. The days seemed to flip what each was supposed to be.
  16. It was a few days ago, then slowly started to be a rain in morning clearing afternoon. But temps were way off, saw forecasts of 66, ended up at 72.
  17. Record cool start to May according to Ron Smiley.
  18. Absolutely miserable day. Feels like it did all winter.
  19. God, I hope. This last week and nearly the next have been pretty bad. Done with the cold in the mornings.
  20. Yeah, so it looks unlikely to be that cold, but cold (40s-50s) definitely possible. I do hope it warms a bit though at least near 60.
  21. I doubt this, 50s probably, maybe high 40s wouldn't be absurd. Gross for sure though.
