    2.8 on my ambient setup as the low. Now up to 11 went to a bar in Wantagh last night for a 40th birthday. Had to park far from the place. Was not fun

    I am not complaining about this winter. Sustained cold. Two 6”+ events plus some minor 1” events. Extended snow cover. Sure beats the 5” years. I’ll take it. It’s not often on Long Island we have almost a month of snow cover

    Yea the whole island was done poorly. But we usually don’t get two weeks of below freezing that was the real issue. But still no one cleared the sidewalks kids are walking in the street. Half my street still has snow too

    I’m satisfied with this winter. Two storms 6” +. Cold weather. Extended snow pack and apparently long island forgot how to deal with snow. Terrible cleanup.

    I also have an ice dam. The roof melt tablets didn’t really help. If you have ice water shield under the shingles you should be ok

    Watching snow fall in the outer banks and Myrtle beach places where we vacation is just absolutely crazy

    It is frustrating to miss a possible hecs by 150 miles. But life goes on. We will get one.

    Yes we just got 12” and it’s cold and feels like winter. Which is nice but it still sucks to watch what could have been a blizzard miss by 100 miles. Welcome to weenie-ville
