  1. Still a while away but would be acceptable I guess. Question would be with fans? What capacity? Etc etc
  2. And then there’s this in the Baltimore sun, encouraging out of Towners to OC but just saying not much is open so a day trip is more appropriate...hmm https://www.baltimoresun.com/coronavirus/bs-md-ocean-city-beaches-reopen-20200505-wdvmqqtbsrcphloxfpwbn365ny-story.html?fbclid=t
  3. Lol funny. Honestly the only 2 things I miss are restaurants/bars and sports. I never aimlessly went into stores to begin with so I could careless about typical retail. But I’m ready to sit at my local tiki bar, and sip on some drinks while watching the Os game. Weather supportive of course
  4. There’s no point in going back to school, it’s May
  5. Right, it’s the same as the non essential travel thing. People aren’t going to be randomly pulled over. You’ll only get caught if you do something stupid. The weather won’t be supportive of people randomly going though for the next week to 10 days so it probably won’t be to bad until next weekend
  6. No it’s not pending that. The “stay at home order” doesn’t prevent you from going outside to a public park. What makes a beach any different?
  7. I understood that any food establishments could still technically do carry out, just like any other restaurants in the state. The retail stuff would still be under state order to be closed so I don’t think there’s much to do about that
  8. Ocean City mayor announced beaches, boardwalk, inlet parking lot and access points will be re opening Saturday.
  9. Yeah it’ll definitely be interesting. But yes the Os wouldn’t have a shot in a 10 game season lol
  10. Korean baseball league starts tomorrow lol
  11. Yeah, I apologize for clogging the thread, but I’m going to defend myself when somebody comes at me for a simple comment. If one didn’t like it or didn’t agree, they could have moved on.
  12. Many of those cities have high poverty rates above the national average...it is not a stretch at all to say there’s a link between crime and poverty. Of course there are some exceptions.
  13. Did I even mention race? I talked about poverty levels and and high crime. It’s not a secret that higher crime is linked to High poverty levels. If you want to draw other conclusions from that feel free. Is it racist to want to live in a safe city?
  14. I don’t want to derail the thread here too bad...and I know your argument probably is it could happen anywhere. Sure, of course. But poverty and high crime rate go hand in hand. If I had a choice to live in Flint MI or Columbia MD, id chose Columbia every time
  15. What DuClaw is it? Sweet baby Jesus?
  16. Yeah I’ll get it in my head eventually...I’m pretty much out of booze right now and I think I’ll keep it that way until I pick up my RAR order sometime next week lol. That’ll be a nice break
  17. 5 years ago, I wouldnt have had much of a problem with it...now I can’t do it lol. Mind says go for it, body next day says no way Jose
  18. Yeah, I need a break again after Saturday. Drank two 13%’ers, a 9% and a 7%. All 16 oz cans too lol. Felt a little crappy for a few hours yesterday.
  19. It’s one of the poorest cities in America...high crime rate, etc. Baltimore would be on the list too lol
  20. Absolutely terrible, and crazy. But if I had to guess where something like that would happen, Flint MI would be on the list
  21. I didn’t know you had your PHD in psychology but thanks! I’m not saying it should go on forever, or all year. Or even al month. My opinion about when all this should be relaxed wasn’t included in my post. Which by the way, I believe that gradually thru the course of this month we should begin the process of trying to open businesses again (with certain guidelines in place) and perhaps by June get some kind of sports going. That said, opening schools at this point would be useless so they can stay closed.
  22. Who turned this into a crap show about raising kids? Jeez. No your kids shouldn’t be hanging in groups with other kids. But it would be nice and good for them to probably go for a walk or a bike ride, ya know with their parents/siblings in the park or neighborhood.
  23. Most places will probably reach 70 today before the wind really picks up
  24. I deff hear you but the 60 and 90 are worlds different to me. Being someone who isn’t an IPA fan, the 60 tastes like a typical IPA, where I get plenty of malt and or barley out of the 90 minute
  25. Well I’m used to that. I drink a ton of high ABV stouts so I believe it. I’m not an IPA fan but I do like the 90 minute so I thinking the 120 is deff worth a try
