To be fair, the way I interpreted it was May 1 is when they’re going to “begin” the process. Meaning it’ll be gradual, with probably still stipulations in place. Perhaps mask wearing, as much social distancing as possible and not opening everything at once.

Right. It’s not a decision that anybody is happy about (even this kids probably aren’t happy at this point, they’re bored). But we know it’s inevitable. They may as well just make the call and then decide how to proceed with graduations, grades etc.

Been weak sauce in terms of storms here all night and now day. Have had occasional strong wind gusts to maybe 40-45 but not very consistent at all to this point

It’s been pretty windy here in eastern Baltimore County by the bay. I’d say occasional gusts maybe close to the 45-50 range. I believe the wind will be strongest near the bays and water ways, and east of DC

Agreed. That’s the biggest story today...along with any showers or storms that mix the real stuff down and make it even worse. Severe stuff sometimes pans out here but not legitly that often

I think the winds will be legit later and any heavy shower/storm development will aid in the mixing down to surface but goes most of the time, I think the severe threat is a bit overblown for this one..we’re just a little too far north for the explosive development and that line segment

The only thing I want to add is that death is necessary for the sustainability of the planet. Viruses are nature’s way of controlling it to a degree. Births and population growth far outweigh deaths in the world so to what point is our population sustainable? Not an issue for us but who knows maybe a few hundred years from now. That said, I’m not saying we shouldn’t be doing what we’re doing. But death is a difficult thing for us to talk about and I’m just pointing out while painful, it’s necessary. I don’t know what’s gonna happen In 100 years when the average life expectancy is closing on 100...

Nevada just reported 22,000 new cases today and they only have 24,000 total. All these new cases recorded for today were probably back logged for weeks. This is why new daily increase in case numbers can’t be completely reliable and trusted

Yeah. I probably wouldn’t recommend going to the Costco’s and Sams clubs of the world. Go to the smaller type chains or even locally owned places. Usually not as bad

Probably depends where you live. I honestly haven’t really had much of a problem any time outside of making the mistake of going directly after one or Hogan’s pressers. People seem to panic after those. But anyway, I would imagine that early or late is best. Obviously stock may vary, but I mean ya can always find something to eat lol
