    My newest vehicle is a 1983 VW Vanagon and oldest a pair of 1975 VW Bugs so... On that note, I love when people who ride motorcycles tell you that your car is unsafe lol

    I think the only winter I can think of that may have saved that was either '87 or '88. Growing up in Granby, CT it's the one winter that saved it being 8 years in a row of suck. The next few were terrible until '92. Even that '88 or whatever I think was barely average, if not below. It just seemed great because of prior years.

    Radar has filled back in up this way. It had stopped here, but now we have steady light snow

    It switched to snow here in simsbury a half hour ago...and its already stopped

    It was rain in Westfield, now it's snow in Simsbury. Not really even expecting a dusting here, 33 degrees. Looks like there won't be any refresh of the 3 inch pack lol

    Taking the long way to work driving through Granville on my way to Simsbury. It's snowing pretty good up here and 32°. At least I get to see some flakes today

    That's the problem...there are TONS of terrible drivers around. And I will diasgree to a point, some of these new vehicles are supplied with tires that have no business out in a winter storm no matter how good a driver you are.

    I'll tell you, I've seen this before. Up here I'll be really surprised to see any more than an inch...if that. Unless we see a push north I'm not expecting much.

    We used to do better with two wheel drive and snow tires. I see tons of expensive all wheel drive cars stuck because they can't be bothered to buy true winter tires. Someone tells them they have all season tires and think they're good. All seasons for the most part are a joke in true winter weather

    Never gone...careful! It's addictive! And modern sleds with the motorcycle riding position are SO comfortable compared to years ago. I gave up riding four years ago because of a new house, marriage etc and can't wait to own sleds again...someday
