We do still need the rain, and still early to really hope for snow. Let's wait till mid December. Actually if it's going to snow it'll probably happen the weekend of December 7th. I've got to run out to Terre Haute Indiana and back that weekend. Long drive so I don't need any weather delays
Some mangled flakes mixed in traveling through Southwick this a.m. Would have taken a joy ride through Blandford and Granville on the way in this morning but the Power Wagon is in the shop for some 200K maintenance. 35 and drizzle in Simsbury
Kinda funny when you run into someone who still smokes (tobacco at least) these days, see someone lighting up and its an instant double take, WTF moment
It's a shame that's closed up in the winter! I hope for a decent window the weekend of December 7th, have to drive to Terra Haute Indiana and back that weekend
Until the Euro has been unburdened by what has been (upgrades) I'll believe it when I see it EDIT: wait, where are you seeing snow on the Euro for this general area? I don't see anything... unless mine is stuck on last run??
I just had to shake my head a page or so back with some discussing a future pattern like it's mid January next week... OMFG please don't let them start that crap yet! I look out two weeks at the most. The solutions beyond that (or less) have been flip flopping all over the place on the GFS forever
Well then, we'll see. Most of my really decent years in north central CT didn't have any appreciable snow until around Christmas / New Years. 1992 is a memorable exception and I'm not Will, CRS is a serious problem...
Low of 26 in Westfield this A.M. Lowest so far for us. I have to agree with WinterWolf... this fall has been amazing and it shouldn't be "wintery" yet. We know (in general) what happens when we have early winter weather. Keep the snow for December and beyond in SNE
