Euro hasn’t been all that great either and it’s day 10. Probably turns into fropa.

Had a great trip to Maine with my daughter. Skied Mount Abram, Black and Saddleback. All three were excellent. No lift lines, minimal crowds and fantastic conditions. All were 100% open. Saddleback as usual was choked with snow. Can’t really beat it!

The home owner in me is ready for winter to be done down here. My driveway is a nightmare, ice dams, and heating costs starting to drive me crazy. The skier in me wants winter to go on forever!

Great afternoon skin with one of my oldest friends and my 16 year old. Conditions were fantastic, tons of base with a nice top layer. Wind was a little strong in places but nothing like what the resorts experienced today. Definitely some best skiing I’ve done all season!

GFS likes the Berkshires early next week. Been hard to get a pure snowstorm this winter. Early Decembers Clipper is all I can think of. The pack here is loaded with water.

Insane sleet here all day. It’s like a day at the beach outside now. Skiing was surfy goodness.

Just taught a never ever ski lesson, dumping sleet the whole time. Friends skied the woods, they were happy… now I’m sad.

Glad I’m heading north second half of the week. We certainly have base here but good luck skiing it!

Deep deep winter here. I’ll measure when I go to clean up my driveway. I’d say 6”. Pack is loaded with water.

No idea. 2019 so it could be a few things. Car went into limp mode so I got home. Gonna get it to shop after the storm and have it scanned. Hopefully something basic.

I was probably bitching in the wrong place but I also have a cx-5. Broke randomly yesterday, at the worst possible time.

Love how my car decided to break yesterday! No one can look at it till Monday. Modern car hits 100k and shit just decides to break! Google was useless, could be a dozen things. Fuel pump recall I missed the snail mail is my hope.

Does this include sleet? Sleet isn’t bad in my mind, I’m just curious.

They are going to have to stomp out the landing. Parking there will be a big time disaster.

Heavy snow, sleet, ice, wind and the busiest ski weekend of the season! Berkshire East should be fun tomorrow!

Thursdays high and overnight drop turned the driveway from manageable to disaster. This weekend ain’t gonna help!

Killington midweek is very special. Makes you forget how crazy it is on a Saturday.

Feeling pretty good about my trip to Maine next week. Both EURO and GFS are 12+ for western Maine.

This probably tickles the weenies for a couple cycles then goes back to OTS!

Keep the rain away from anywhere above the MA border. This is the biggest weekend for the ski resorts and communities that support them.

Finally got out for a tour. Been since March 2023 for really good natural snow touring around here. Today I headed up to East Dover town forest backcountry zone. Off rice hill road in Dover, VT. What a treat 45 mins from my couch! My first time skiing up there and I want to go back tomorrow! Tons of snow, 6” of fresh on top of deep base, it skied very well. My 98mm touring rig wasn’t really wide enough up top to stay on top of the slight ice crust. Had to hop out of the turns. I’ve stopped keeping track of my stats but I honestly could have skied all day. Had to make it home for the pup though. Double dipped and did some laps at the home hill later in the day. Conditions were really good in the woods. Reminded me of Sugarloaf, icy, rocky, chalky wind blown snow on top. Last picture is Berkshire East for reference !
