Maybe this wind up in the mountains will bring me some free holiday decorations... it’s windy up here y’all! I’m not going to sit on a chairlift in tropical storm conditions...
22° up here.
It’s crazy the amount of light pollution there is. It’s almost like it’s always 6am... or a full moon... from the bottom of the mountain, all you see are the clouds being illuminated. Don’t know why I’m realizing this now...
You do think it would start as rain in the mountains, then transition to heavy snow? I have trouble understanding the temperatures with elevation change like that...
23° at Snowshoe, I would guess we got 6 inches, the wind might have blown it around, so I’ll have to wait until I get outside. Might see 0° in the coming days... we’ll see.
Awesome at snowshoe, it’s windy and getting caked to the windows and stuff, so can’t see outside well... there’s a 2” thick icicle hanging off the roof... 29°
I would love to come home from the mountains to get more snow...
It better not stay at that range though... it better not...
Hopefully a nice start to twenty-twenty-one
I like the long range for the rest of the year for temperatures. Luckily it looks very cold for my escape destination. Coldest year for this time in awhile it seems. My secret / not so secret snow escape is coming together nicely! This is what rain does to you...
It’s not looking good up north... apparently roofs are collapsing. Some are at 36”... From the images, you don’t know what anything on the street is, cars look like piles of snow.
