    Well... I’ll be up! I need to see some snow here... the time in the mountains wasn’t enough! I’m getting greedy at this point! Who’s bringing snacks, and what should I bring?

    Do you happen to know what “Heavy Precipitation” means below the snow one? Is that just where it’s uncertain which type of precipitation it will be?

    And, the better Resolution can help too once we get closer, i believe that was one of the big things that helped in 2018 of December in my opinion.

    Yeah, a lot of the GFS has been rain here... Euro, UK, and Canadian have been decent for here in my opinion. We are famous for the rain/snow line after all! Edit: Lets get through 12z and beyond before we form some opinions...

    I would say the 12z HRRR isn’t far off either? It also appears the 12z NAM is a bit more moist.

    Ans the UK, wasn’t going to say anything about it until I saw it, but it was great looking too. But, I’m just looking at the snow maps like a weenie.

    12z Para was funny. Snow hole for us Rest of the regular GFS was interesting, hope later will bring some fun. That’s usually how it’s been working here lately, early and late season brings snow. At least in my opinion.

    It’s just upsetting to look at. Maybe I should not look at them for a day or two. This winter seems hopeless this far south at this point, not sure how much longer I can hold onto positivity.

    What do storms like? We need to put it in a container and shake it like cat treats to encourage it to come closer.

    I think the 12z RGEM bumped north a little bit, whatever that’s worth.

    Is there really anything in view after this? NoVa has that stuff around February 1st, but I don’t trust that to come south any. I’m guessing it will be awhile, but not based on anything.

    Yes. Can’t just accept that they are guidance, not the exact answer, and move on?

    How long until the Parallel GFS replaces the regular one, like a week or so at this point?

    I’m not that disappointed. I already had the day off, and will be given extra work anyway earlier in the week, so it wouldn’t be a true snow day.
