    I love that fall drink too but I skip the pumpkin beer, lemonade, apple cider and maple syrup dipped in pumpkin spice.

    Wolf Creek always seems to do well in late fall/early winter. As for K-Mart making snow. They probably will, but I wonder if they'd do better with dry air as opposed to saturated at 27-30F. Scott would probably be able to answer that. But one thing about K-Mart, if given even a small window, they can lay down a ribbon in no time. I think FIS returns tour there in a month!

    Not in Torchtober. Climate change is REAL. You probably won't see any measurable snow this winter.

    Based on radar, she's looking a little healthier with less dry air intrusion from the south. I wouldn't be surprised if winds are bumped up by a few knots.

    Agreed Kev, looking like a positive atmosphere for strengthening. Feel bad for hte folks on the Norwegian cruise ling going to Maine/ Nova Scotia instead of Bermuda. Not even going to come close.

    I appreciate all the advice. I think I'm going to demo out skis between 95 and 105 underfoot, and see what feels best.

    Looking to pick up some new skis this fall. My current skis are basically GS skis (185's (115-68-99) which are fine for anything less than say 6" of snow, but now that I'm getting in about 40 days/year, and the ability to hit most powder days I'm looking for something wider. So do I get something wide like a Blizzard Rustler (142-114-132) just for powder days, or something like a Bonafide / Enforcer as an everyday ski?
