That band rotating down through central MD seems to be on a trajectory that’ll take it just west of the Beltway. Might add to the slightly under 0.5” I picked up this evening.
Yup...as well as whatever falls today. Still a great look, though that Kuchera map that PSU posted is a lot more generous than the 10:1 map from Pivotal.
I think a lot of folks are focused on wishing today's radar returns south. Me? I know where I stand with them, so I need to refocus on future potential. We really need to make the next couple weeks count so we can happily fade into spring.
Seems a stretch to have snow into tomorrow evening, but you’ve been saying the last couple days that the nest is a good product and can be relied upon, so I’ll be really curious to see how it performs.
Depends on which model and which run, right?
I'm short of the official forecast, if that matters. And looking out my window and the radar...I can say with confidence that the 12z Euro will bust way high for today.
Not worried about the fine details at this range (low going from 996 southeast of Hatteras to 982 in the Chesapeake to 970 over New York City in 12 hours). It's just really good to see potential on the map less than a week out.
