  1. I have to admit that I'm a little bit of a d!ck.
  2. Seems a stretch to have snow into tomorrow evening, but you’ve been saying the last couple days that the nest is a good product and can be relied upon, so I’ll be really curious to see how it performs.
  3. I didn't bother shoveling yesterday. Yup...I'm that guy.
  4. Depends on which model and which run, right? I'm short of the official forecast, if that matters. And looking out my window and the radar...I can say with confidence that the 12z Euro will bust way high for today.
  5. Yeah...I suppose I'd be happy with a QPF-laden quick-hitter this weekend with a follow-up cold Miller A next Wednesday.
  6. He's fully within his rights, to be honest. It's been a disappointment in this general area.
  7. I'm no expert, but I just can't see it. Nice fatties outside now - pretty scene.
  8. Certainly ideal! Mid-range tracking with long-range potential. We're in peak climo, so let's give a run!
  9. Not worried about the fine details at this range (low going from 996 southeast of Hatteras to 982 in the Chesapeake to 970 over New York City in 12 hours). It's just really good to see potential on the map less than a week out.
  10. Yeah, nah. Euro has me at an additional 3", but I ain't buying it!
  11. All snow in Burke for the last 5 minutes. Pretty much the same rates (very light) that we had for most of the day after about 11:00 yesterday. No expectations for accumulation, but if we get a couple hours of this and it freshens things up, then I guess I'll call it a win for the day.
  12. Sucks to be you. Sleet with flakes mixed in here in Burke. Nice day to be able to look out the office window - just wish it were snowier.
  13. You're Fairfax County in name only. You're basically south DC.
  14. Depends on where you are, I suppose. We've been in on and off sleet with some flakes mixing in. As that area fills in I suspect we could see more snow for a little bit.
  15. The anticipation of watching 100 miles to the north east get pummeled is just too much for me to bear.
  16. lol if you think you'll be getting any more snow today
  17. We're pretty crusty around here, but nothing like some of the pictures others are posting - we just have iciness on top of snow.
  18. Man...I know this is obvious, but how I'd have loved for this to just be tucked 50 miles south. 3.25" in Burke. Fun day yesterday, but such a low bust.
