    I have been interested in meteorology since I was a kid. I took a few introductory courses in meteorology at UIUC but they didn't offer a degree there. Went into the medical field instead. So enjoy learning from those with a lot more expertise than myself. Also have fun with the friendly banter on the boards and never take it or myself too seriously. Grew up as a kid in the 1970s so have fond memories of some great winters. Used to remember listening to the NOAA weather radio issuing heavy snow warnings.

    Well given this winter still have to ride the Ukie and GFS lame solutions until they fall in line with the Euro/GEM. Would be interesting if 12Z GEFS shows some bigger hits though

    The system on the 26th looks like a late Dec. redo. Just no cold air available. Another couple weeks then can call this meteorological winter RIP. Can only hope nuisance snows don't show up late March and April

    It always choices. Slow death via dehydration in the desert or quicker ones like carjacking 40 miles SE

    I do love desert golf. Spring break in Myrtle Beach is always iffy weatherwise for golf. Tuscon usually sunny and warm.

    If you're referring to censorship I would acknowledge a careful line needs to be walked.

    This represents one of the biggest threats our country needs to address. The regulation and possible removal of harmful disinformation and misinformation across social media platforms. Unfortunately many Americans don't have the science or medical background to distinguish between factual reliable health guidance and politically twisted garbage. This applies not only to covid but obviously other events that are transpiring now.
