    I do a lot of bitching and moaning when a storm fails for my area. But it is mostly in jest. I am 4 inches from climo this winter. I have nothing to complain about. It appears to me that the changing climo is effecting the coastal plain much more than our areas. While elevation has always been an advantage for us, I am wondering if it will become an even bigger advantage as we move further out in time.

    The ICON is so close to a crush job on Tuesday/Wednesday. Verbatim it is a lot of ice in the Winchester area I suppose.

    I am going to the beach permanently very soon. This hobby is going to give me a heart attack. At least there I wont really have to ever track anymore.

    The models did fine. They had the overall pattern locked in a week ago.

    The GFS gives NOVA and DC some pity flakes on Friday. What an incredible flooded dumpster fire this turned into.

    GFS caved to the NAM. 850's blast north. Congrats PSU. This hobby sucks.

    I am never sweating the Euro again. It got schooled again with tonight and the Friday event by the American models. The NAM is a serious sleet bomb for Saturday. .5 QPF as sleet for just about all of us. I have no idea what that would work out to in depth?

    The NAM hasn't verified yet. And there are major differences from the GFS. Especially out this way.. The GFS appears it will be the winner with the Central VA snow hole though.

    It's an imby sport. And I would be happy if I was up there as well. Nice storm on the NAM for ya'll.

    The 6z euro caved to the gfs with the central VA snow hole. The Gfs has been pretty damn consistent in all honesty. We just don't know if it has been consistently wrong yet. But I am certainly hugging it out here.

    Yeah. It looks like the mix line runs right through the city. I should have mentioned it. But of course I was preoccupied with my own yard. CMC is nice with the first wave.

    GFS has the Saturday sleet bomb as well. It is a really weird run. Snows on Winchester for hours as the storm approaches. I would take it.

    New GFS looks a lot like the RGEM.

    DT has to be sweating the GFS. Dont know how CHO is getting 10 inches off of .3 qpf. Saturday storm incoming on the GFS.

    The GFS is rolling out slower than my 1985 Datsun. At 12 it appears there is less cold push.
