    I think that December was less than 2 degrees above normal at DCA. Cooler than January...

    WB’ s JB not bullish on upcoming pattern as WPO and EPO go positive and MJO goes into phase 7. Will say unfortunately the WB outlook has been spot on this winter with cooler December and warm January.

    WB 6Z GEFS....through Day 10 sums up January....I would not get hopes up until we see something on the ensembles inside 10 days.

    Now let’s see if we can increase this over the next week...I will be frustrated if there is not a threat showing up inside 10 days on the deterministic models by next weekend. Until then, will be patient....

    WB 12Z EPS. Patience for another 10 days in order, hopefully there will not be another delay....looks good beyond 10 days!!!

    WB 0Z GEFS.... not bad but all is still 10 plus days out.

    WB 12Z EPS thru late next week.... holding on by a thread. The GEFS and Canadian are worse.

    Few mood flakes on WB 12Z GFS make it east of the mountains overnight Friday.
