  1. My house is from the 50s and it doesn't have jack sht lol
  2. Barrier Islands on LI including southern Queens are all in the mid 60s while a few miles north it's around 80 or 81 degrees.
  3. How did I go my whole life without knowing about this?
  4. How is your second floor not hot though? The Sun is so strong that it gets quite warm even if it's like 75 and sunny.
  5. I am pleased with our low this morning. If only every morning can have lows in the upper 50s in summer it would be amazing.
  6. You should have been a surgeon instead of poisoning people with your MRNA vaccines
  7. I despise the sound of all powered garden equipment, especially the sound of gas powered blowers.
  8. If the smoke is the cause of the ozone wouldn't that make the ozone in our case elevated?
  9. Very good point. I heard the same in the car this morning driving to work. I heard the air quality alert and assumed it was for the smoke. Then he said it was for ozone and I'm like what?
  10. 57 degrees this morning, still holding on to comfortable morning temps.
  11. How the hell is it so steady looking while using zoom lol
  12. Damn that is a super sharp pic. Did you take that with a tripod and a good optical zoom lens?
  13. The sky looks pretty smoky right now
  14. The sea breeze on LI is producing dewpoints in the 30s and 40s lol give me that sea breeze all day long please
  15. You guys in NJ can keep the heat, I'm hoping the south wind is ferocious and even bends a little bit SSE.
  16. I dipped to 52 degrees, it felt refreshing. Though there was a lot of dew.
  17. Models have lows in the mid 70s Friday morning around NYC, I hope you're all happy! Nothing do I dread more than high minimums. I'd rather have mid 90s every day instead of lows near 80 at night.
  18. What you need to do is adjust the thermostat to a number lower than 75 haha
  19. Greece is mostly a dry heat, I can deal with it since they usually also have a nice breeze and temps drop decently at night. Plus there's 8 million gorgeous beaches to go to relax. 90 to 95 degrees during the day is no big deal when the dewpoints stay low, there's a good breeze and temps drop nicely at sundown.
  20. I remember it clearly because my flight to Greece was cancelled the night of the cold front. And since the flight was cancelled late, like near midnight even though it was supposed to depart around 6PM, as we were driving home to depart again the next day, the cold front had already come through and there was a very strong, cool, dry wind outside. Very impressive CAA for that time of year. I just looked it up actually and it was mid 50s not low 50s. There was another year where I can remember the low being 53 degrees I think.
  21. Latest 40s is an interesting stat. I'd like to know that too. I remember we got into the low 50s in early July in NYC in 2001.
  22. Hey dude A bunch of people changed names and I wasn't sure who was who lol
  23. 100 million people rent. They're not putting solar panels. And even if you own your property, you'd have to shell out a ton of money up front. Half the country can't even afford one emergency, solar panels aren't happening for regular joe.
  24. I bet you wouldn't do it either if it didn't come with the house. And how about the 150 million people that can't put solar panels? Not everyone lives in suburban sprawl. I think we've earned the right to complain when the "authorities" make boneheaded decisions on our behalf.
