  1. I think NY has enough laws and regulations on the books as it is lol
  2. Cook something. Putting something in the oven does a remarkably good job of heating up a house, especially if it's something like a condo.
  3. Why would you turn the heat on in the house are you people crazy. At least today there should be enough residual heat from the previous days in your homes where you don't need heating.
  4. Juno Jr. on the Euro:
  5. Not possible. if you look ata the 5 minute rapid refresh for JFK, there is a gap in the data. I highly doubt the temp jumped 7 degrees from the previous recorded temp on this list and then quickly dropped back down to the 60s. It must be an error:
  6. 6 foot 170 lbs and I walked 10 miles a week before I injured my back in late 2023. I hate the heat. I hate high dews even more. Today was an exquisite day, another 10/10.
  7. That's news to me. March and April were above to well above normal. And so far so is May.
  8. You heat lovers have the whole planet's atmospheric changes on your side. Let us enjoy a handful of cool crisp mornings.
  9. Haha, I thought literally the same thing.
  10. The Euro loves to jack up the winds.
  11. The Euro really blows up the coastal in our area and dumps a lot of rain. The GFS a little less so. The GGEM hits SNE more.
  12. Another beautiful morning, though this morning felt more like a fall morning, except that the Sun has already been up for an hour and a half.
  13. Autumn is the fastest warming season I believe. I wish summer was over by September lol, I love fall temps.
  14. What a beautiful morning out
  15. It felt like it was 50 miles when you walk with kids
  16. I don't see any rain on the radar at least
  17. It was pretty refreshing walking the 50 miles in the Bronx Zoo.
  18. It was pouring rain so I couldn't see it. Though I was looking out my side door at some trees as the storm was going and then branches started getting ripped out of the trees in every direction so I ran back inside lol
  19. Severe is no fun when you're on the receiving end of the damage. The September 2010 tornado passed literally above my house. It was a weak one so my house was fine but I lost so many giant trees in the neighborhood it still pisses me off to this day.
  20. I searched it up because I was curious myself and someone wrote that their grandmother told them that when she was little it used to snow in May once or twice every so often. Someone else said it snows there in the 2010s as well. It can't be that rare then I guess. A week or two ago some peaks in Greece got some snow as well.
  21. I can't think of anything better than dry and below normal temps lol
  22. Honestly I'd rather live in an area that's a dud for wind events. Remarkably despite this I have lost plenty of huge old trees to wind. And some to the POS Emerald Ash Borer but that's not the weather's fault lol
  23. There's some serious activity around Baltimore:
