This is the first time all the red berries on my flowering dogwood have been completely picked clean this early, they were all gone by last weekend.

Most people that aren't low IQ have moved on from the argument that we aren't warming and have now embraced the "the cause is anything and everything BUT anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions" defense. Sadly there is a HUGE portion of the population that also thinks that the USA is the sole party responsible for fixing climate change when we account for only 10% of global emissions.

Maybe some light rain overnight? Who knows, you can't trust models 12 hours out anymore.

We did have that major flooding event in East Queens and Western Nassau during the summer too. But obviously that's localized. But extremely rare either way.

I smell a bust

They have lowered altitude significantly unfortunately. For me it's takeoffs from LGA. I can clearly read the writing on the planes with a quick phone pic. Sometimes I say to my wife I think they're going to land on the boulevard nearby they're so damned loud and low.

Maybe KDIX can get its act together and clean up the radar.

I hear both all the time. By the time the roar of the first plane is about to totally dissipate I hear the whine of the next plane approaching. Ever since 2012 LGA permanently switched over to the "Tennis Climb," which they used to use only to avoid the US Open. That puts the planes right over eastern Queens.
