    never forget and love the water color nasty invasive species issues aside, the mussels have done incredible things to the water visibility in the great lakes, when conditions are right these days (ie not too much wind kicking up sediment), the clarity really does approach caribbean levels. If you haven't visited in a long while, it's worth checking out. The changes over my life from murky waters and shorelines full of dead alewives to today is wild.
