  1. Yep, sincerely appreciate you asking and I'm sorry for never posting an update. I really don't know how bad the side effects would have been the rest of Tuesday since I ended up taking upwards of 1400mg of Ibuprofen and Tylenol. I still had some strange flashes of feeling "weird" yesterday, but for the most part I was fine. Perfectly normal today. I will say, the most interesting thing to me was that I experienced very little soreness in my arm this time; like nowhere near as much as I did with shot #1. the soreness came on a little faster -within two hours- but at no point did I really feel like it was very bothersome at all. Granted, Monday night I had a bit to drink and obviously the following morning I started popping the anti-inflammatory stuff, so that definitely lessened the pain, but even overnight Monday when shit got real I could barely notice any soreness. All in all, personally I'm still glad I got the booster just for the added few percentage points of immunity. But, like I said previously, I was severely humbled by this experience and my respect for this virus has only grown. Dude, I could not imagine feeling like that for a week or maybe even more...
  2. Just a sore arm, that was literally it. I was pretty confident/optimistic going into both doses. My mother received the Pfizer vaccine too and was actually worried about her lack of an immune response to dose 2 -at least initially- so I definitely underestimated my chances of a strong reaction.
  3. That sounds like literal hell. As someone who's been fortunate to escape previous infection, this experience really humbled me. I can't imagine feeling like that for more than a day or two... Let alone breathing complications or anything else on top? Yikes. Appreciate the support man, I'm sure I'll be fine by tomorrow.
  4. Second dose of Pfizer is kicking my ass. Got the shot yesterday and felt fine with just a sore arm, but the second I went to bed I got sick as hell. It felt like influenza 2.0... Chills, fever, severe back and neck pain, my head felt like it was splitting in two. Popped 600mg Ibuprofen and that helped a lot, but I'm hoping I don't get worse again in two hours' time.
  5. I'm pretty sure most jet-owners could give about zero shits about that aspect of things. Believe me I'd never dream of doing that myself lol
  6. The key is to own a jet and just fly to wherever the severe outbreaks are.
  7. ^ This line right here is probably the best thing written anywhere on this website since its creation.
  8. How do you embed your photos? Like how do you generate the link for them? At least I assume that's how you're doing it...
  9. I'm chasing from behind now, had to stop for gas. Damn.
  10. Watching the base intently, following it from behind.
  11. Not even sure we're looking at the right cell but things are looking very interesting
  12. Approaching the two big cells at the end of the line now
  13. Have like 180 miles ahead of us so hopefully we'll make it in time...
  14. Sounds good, appreciate the advice! The chase is on. Any additional advice or suggestions along the way would be greatly appreciated...
  15. I really haven't been following this ultra closely so far... Is there any chance if supercell development or is this one of those linear mode days?
  16. Any chance these clouds will break by noon?
  17. I know it's wrong, but I don't disagree with his sentiment. If only it were that cut-and-dry.
  18. Got shot #1 about four hours ago. It was the most pain-free needling I've every received. My arm's starting to get sore now... otherwise I would be worried about whether the nurse actually gave me the shot. I swear on my life it was so quick and painless that I was genuinely shocked when she said I was done, and coming from me, that means something as I've passed out several times during blood drawings/allergy tests.
  19. Okay, please don't bake me if this logic is flawed, but wouldn't it make sense for Texas to be doing better than other states because it's massive in size and therefore can contain more people yet still have them be more spread out? I know that there's massive urban centers in Texas but surely its sheer size must account for some of the distortion
  20. One day, I hope to have a property where I can house a tree (or two or three) of that size but suburban living won't cut it Congrats though, that thing will be beautiful in a few decades.
  21. Jesus, not sure if this pertains to your exact type but according to Wikipedia they grow to "at least 165 feet". That's some tree you've got there.
  22. They said it could not be done... They were wrong.
