    Snows starting to come down good here. Nice size flakes.

    It’s time for now casting/wish casting. That big band moving through central Alabama looks like we’re right in the crosshairs.

    Temps starting to fall now. I’m back below 40.

    I’m starting to like our chances it looks like we might get a little back side action as well. I would say 3-6 would be a good call right now.

    I’m liking the trends on the hrrr and rap they keep inching north with the initial band. Both have 6 inch line running through southern Macon county another 5-10 mile Shift and I’ll be happy.

    I’m definitely not as confident as I was, but I think the short range models are keeping the low over Tennessee to long before transferring. We might just have to wait till tomorrow evening and watch and see.

    I agree I got 4” last February but since then dec of 18 was the last time I’ve had 6” so Im wanting to meet that. But 3” and I’ll be satisfied lol.

    Good model runs overnight. I’m a little afraid it might be a little to amped for down here to stay all snow might have some sleet issues but almost all models show 6 inches of snow acculturation so I’m fine with a little sleet. Don’t fear the long range Hrrr either it’ll start caving at 18z.

    I think rains mixed in here as well but temp has dropped to 35.6 it was 38 something when precip started.

    Just had a nice sleet shower move thru everything started to get white.

    Hard to say for sure but it looked like 3Km Nam was gonna be even better. Gotta love the way models have trended since yesterday.

    Definitely need to keep and eye on Saturday/ Sunday Nam just put down a mountain wide storm.

    I’m actually a good bit north of Franklin in Cowee Valley around 2500’.

    Looks to be 2” or so with fine flakes still coming down at a good clip.

    Up to an inch now with snow coming down hard! According to radar we should have snow about all night.

    Around an 1/2” here. Rates have gotten better but flake size is still small.

    Grounds getting frosty again been snowing decently for past 45 minutes.

    Finally starting to snow lightly again here the dusting this morning melted off.

    Light snow here with temp of 30* vehicles are dusted up and grass is starting to look frosty!

    I can’t remember the last time gsp showed me over and inch for a flow snow and I’ve surpassed that twice already this year.
