Just glad I did not have to drive anywhere today to get that crap all over my truck.
Temp dropped quick 30.7/25 - wonder how fast the cold air will be pushed out tomorrow.
Well, good luck to you all on the western shore, looking forward to my 1-2" of rain to pad my annual stats. Here is a useless ob. for the storm, 34.2/25.1- Easton, MD, 63'.
StarDem just reported there are brining crews on the roads today
Maryland Department of Transportation and State Highway Administration in Easton, joins a team that began brining operations the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 15, from a staging area at U.S. Routes 50 and 404 in Wye Mills.
Yeah not holding my breath for the midweek storm...at best a few feet of brine applied to the roads followed by three snow flakes and torrential cold rain. Pretty typical winter storm for these parts.
It shows up on the MD Topo viewer: https://geodata.md.gov/topoviewer/
Not as dramatic as the fall line on the Western Shore, but it is noticeable from Trappe north, east of Rt. 50, as CAPE mentioned.
Also since this is discobs: low of 25.2, high of 51.3.
