    3.13" still raining, 8.39" for the month. July 2025 was 7.47", looks like 2018 is my record for July at 10.31", followed by July 2023 at 10.12". July historically has consistently been a very wet month.

    Nice morning for a bike ride. 0.22" this morning. 3.87" for the month.

    Yeah saw that. I was wondering if that small storm was going to start training but it just went poof over Caroline/Dorchester. The small storm did seem to be associated with the leading line of the smoke moving south east last night.

Summer rainfall does not generally help relieve longer term drought conditions that are dictated by year-on-year water budgets but can help sustain vegetation over the short term.
