There’s like 3-4 days of AN. And none of them approach records.

Lots of cutters on the 6z GFS... probably spikes of temp with them, but it's interesting to see how wet the forecast remains. Hope we don't blow it all early and be left with a barren winter.

From what I can parse, and I risk being ridiculed for expressing anything other than laudation of other posters, we warm up substantially this week (Wed +5/6, Thur +12, Fri +5), then linger back around normal for a bit.

Sorry for being emotional yesterday everyone. Bad day personally. I’m gonna take a break from the board get my shiz together. Sorry again. Hopefully by the time I come back were enjoying a foot of snow on Turkey. Looks unlikely right now but who knows. Backdoor potential among mildness

I like the disco on the NE thread and I find any forecasts for BOS usually equate to where I'm at in Brooklyn.

Looks to be low/mid 60s...that's like, +5...not too bad. Doesn't hang around too long either

According to what I can parse this morning, we have BN temps till Halloween, then Halloween is looking like it could be +5 or so (mid 60's in my location), a day or two of lingering AN, then another step down to mid 50s or just about average.

I saw that. Looks like spikes of AN are inevitable for us anymore! Climates in climates...

Copy that. I now do see that there has been a slight adjustment warmer in the 6-10! Looks like "warmth" comes with moisture, too. Also interesting for the ACATT group, this week has been trending warmer in forecasts and also overperforming. Something to keep in mind. That said, compared to early Oct and falls of the past few years, it does not seem like the constant this season will be balmy. Looks somewhat consistent. Also Mets - there's a super typhoon out there in weatherland. Will it have much effect on our sensible wx?

I don't see it as a devolution! I expressed a thought that was (now evidently) not true, but it acted as an impetus for these individuals to expose themselves and hopefully be encouraged to be part of the forum at large. What a beautiful thing! That said - looks to me that we mostly rain for the next few systems in coastal areas, and the aforementioned warm-up has been muted quite a bit. There is a trough in the west but luckily instead of amping up the SE ridge, keeps us at a sorta homeostatic baseline normal. I could be reading it wrong, but that's what I see.

Yeah that's not me and I don't know him. That said - this is a SOCIAL forum, and making someone feel less-than is not millennial self victimization, it's me telling you how it feels to immediately feel unwelcome in the only place in my life I can turn to to find people who relate to my fascination with weather. I'll prob stop posting, keep up the good work guys.

My girlfriend was asking me about this website, because I told her one of the admins/mets essentially told me to f**k off, and she asked if there are any girls on the site. I said I've yet to see one girl on this entire forum, ever. I think it's partially because of the "boys club" attitude that is taken, and the lack of welcome that some show. It's not a warm environment and GOD FORBID someone like me, who gets emotional about weather without much of the WX IQ that others have, want to join in on the conversation. I will stop posting when I don't have anything to add. I will only post when I have a question that I feel is academic in nature. Thank you.
