  1. Hard disagree with you here, and not regarding tax policy. She’s worth it because a lot of people have decided what she produces, they enjoy. It’s no different than a consumer good like those made by Apple. A lot of people like it and are willing to pay premiums for it. You can’t legislate taste. If an individual or organization is creating a good that people want, you should be able to enjoy the profits from it. .
  2. You must be a blast at parties. .
  3. That’s one of the things that drives me batty about all of this… we don’t *have* to go put giant wind turbines in the ocean. We have the ability to do all clean energy now with nuclear. We consciously choose not to. .
  4. Yup. Look at our Navy. They run on small scale reactors. If we did that, think of the decrease in emissions. .
  5. Nuclear. [emoji3518] How we have a technology that can produce near limitless clean energy but we don’t use it is annoying. .
  6. Can you make it stop? .
  7. This is too low for MMU. With that that said, some years you get the bear, some years the bear gets you. .
  8. *top thing to do: leave. .
  9. Cloudy and grey here. .
  10. I believe it’s also the religious aspect of it that’s off-putting. As humans, we find a need to belong to a tribe, and every religious order throughout history has its own set of rules which banishes and shames heretics. Climate change politics (disclosure, it is occurring) demands the same adherence to commandments from an elite with the same doomsday warnings if not followed as any religious sect. It doesn’t allow a devil’s advocate. For instance, when you read of Jesus’ teachings and guidance, you think, wow, this is terrific. When you hear of him walking on water, you think… that probably didn’t happen. To some people, that’s heresy, and you’re banished. Thanks for coming to my TED talk. .
  11. Never. People see what they want to see and hear what they want to hear. .
  12. It’s arriving in time for April. .
  13. Trolling aside, are you thinking of moving? Living in the coast(al plain) is feast or famine. Obviously, there are family and career concerns that outweigh this. It’s been a run similar to the early and late 1990s, and especially after everything seemingly worked out for a decade and a half. .
