  1. “When one has been angry for a very long time, one gets used to it. And it becomes comfortable, like old leather. And finally... becomes so familiar that one can't ever remember feeling any other way.” .
  2. Isn’t that a little melodramatic? Not saying you’re wrong, but I think a lot of people would have lost their minds here if they were around for a lot of the 1990s outside of two fun winters. History doesn’t repeat itself, but it often rhymes. .
  3. Glad you mentioned this. I don’t fully understand the modelology or the long term possibilities, and while I don’t discount them, there’s definitely a *feel* we overlook a lot. It’s like analytics and baseball; while they’re very useful, there’s an eye test, too, which you can intuit and tell when a pitcher can master hitters. I know it’s a La Niña, so it’s usually colder earlier in the season, but that feel is there. Thanks for coming to my TED talk. .
  4. Can’t I just complain to another bunch of anonymously unhinged lunatics with very specific niche interests that most other friends and family can’t comprehend without actually solving the problem? .
  5. When everything is an emergency, nothing is. .
  6. I’m on the southern and western end here (MMU) and every year it’s the same movie. Everyone gets bent out of shape for things literally out of our control. .
  7. I don’t think this is a case of that. (No, I’m not denying AGW; Yes, I believe it is occurring.) I think it’s more of a case of very early December and it just doesn’t happen that often at this time of year, especially in an enormous, concrete-heavy, oceanfront city. Sometimes things just happen. .
  8. hey guys, hope you had a nice Thanksgiving! Think there’s anything going on with this storm down yonder at MMU? My family and I are awaiting news to see if we can make it town on Tuesday. .
  9. Eh, as long is it snows where we live, amirite?!? .
  10. tyvm! I hope your idea verifies. Be nice to have everyone smile. .
  11. I’ll be the hater here: Why would we have such a big snowstorm down to the shore in an early part of the season (first week of December) when we usually don’t? (I’m aware that it’s snowed during this time in the past, et. al.) The universe usually aligns against it. Ok, I’d enjoy being wrong, but interested in knowing why it would occur. Thank you and safe travels today! .
  12. I like to come back and engage right before Thanksgiving for great maps like this. .
