    its SNE though, so the most probable outcome is always a dud. Nevertheless, I can't remember the last time I was in an enhanced risk.

    It was horrific. We got 4" or so of slop in Somerville while Winchester, 4 miles away, received 18 inches. We moved to Concord a month later, which was just a little too late! I'll remember that pain for a while, a little like the disappointment following no flip to snow in that early March 2018 storm (back when I was even more of a weenie).

    Perhaps more impressive is MLCAPE values exceeding 2000 J in those same spots.

    There's some serious SBCAPE into SW sections of SNE pushing 4000 J in some spots. Shame there isn't a forcing mechanism to fully take advantage
