The May flies were brutal out there today. I couldn’t walk anywhere without getting swarmed by the little pests. I’ve also seen some giant prehistoric looking mosquitoes popping up all along the yard. All this rain we’ve picked up the last 6+ months is clearly starting to yield some interesting results in our swampy neck of the woods.
*Moves to a rural area*
...omg giant bug !

I know! I liked it much better with clear blue skies and low humidity lol.
Although it's Sunday and I was cooking food for the entire week today so the whole house got hot from that.
Oh man I know the feeling...cooking Sunday dinner tonight was brutal....dews in my kitchen must've reached 80+ from all the pasta I was cooking haha

It was actually humid today and the sky was milky white instead of pristine blue.
Yuck!
If you're saying yuck with dews in the mid 50s...you have a very long summer ahead of you my friend
Though right now it's actually humid with ewr reporting a dew at 64.
Yeah we have a long summer ahead of us haha

Wow 30 tornadoes and counting including some terrifyingly large wedge tornadoes crossing roads!
Definitely some impressive large tornadoes out there in the plains today

I don't think so. You really think Anthony is trolling? I genuinely believes he likes this weather, same with Hoodie Guy. He gets weenied and made fun of every time he says he likes this weather and it always baffled me. To each their own is what I say but that's just me, it's all in good fun I suppose.
I LOVE this type of weather. Mist, upper 40s and fog...there's something about it that I love but everyday.... absolutely not haha
It's the same thing with cold wx...there's not one person on earth who could genuinely say.. "I love this 0 degree weather"
As one poster said , it's all subjective.

I enjoy it too. Few days of clouds/drizzle I'm defitnitly okay with but weeks on end gets depressing(aka 2009)

My buddy said it was deeper than the first
Yeah the 4.8 registered 5km deep and the second 4.0 registered ~9km deep. Interesting

Was this an aftershock or another quake?
I'd say an aftershock unless a larger one occurs

Thanks. I don't crap on every threat. You know this.
It's amazing being ridiculed over 1 run of the CMC though by some here. I'll say that.
Haha I'm not ridiculing you and obviously I'm just joking. I made that comment bc you and snowman weenie the same posts I absolutely dont think there will be accumulations in NYC

Exactly....we'll get KUs again and probably on epic proportions in our new high moisture climate...We've just had bad luck haha
Everyone is so accustomed to big winters that bad ones stick out more...NYC averages about 28" for a reason....
@Rmine1 must have drowned in all the rain he's been getting

the 2000-2018 run was epic in itself even without any warming....even if the climate stayed the same such a run might be difficult to come by....
