There is the distinct feeling in the air of a strong tropical warm front. Albeit decaying. But not like some warm front advecting into an extrotropical storm. Just different. Feels really nice to be outside. The strong breeze is doing something for me.
Me too. Clouds are racing, nice strong breeze and a very tropical airmass. Feels different then your normal warm passes we've experienced this summer..but ye know...human psyche does play a role.

You’re crazy I’ve seen it numerous times. Guess you’re too young. Less playing more reading youngin
Im a fan of pixie dust myself, but I prefer to gamble being on the edge of the r/s line..tend to get the heavier rates that way

A gigantic .13” at the wantagh meso today. The best thing about having that meso where it is, is to show the ocean effect on summer precip patterns. While the rest of the island gets rocked the immediate south shore stays dry.
You'll get your rain in the winter

Storms collapsed and sent a gust front through here earlier and new storms fired to the south. Fringed today. 0.10"

Weak downburst. Really heavy rain now

This second line is producing one heck of a light show here. More frequent then the first round

Gusts to 35mph , heavy rain and frequent ctc lightning. Decent storm. More impressed with how strong winds lasted after the shelf moved through. Some folks to our west def got some house shaking winds.

As I was thoroughly enjoying a nice cold beer in the Greenville section of Jersey City; sketchy guy appears. Proceeds to try to open the door to a car he does not own, sees that its locked and decides to drain his pool..needless to say....hes walking to wherever he came from with wet pants.
Gotta love Jersey City

Best day of the week. No severe but the persistence in tsm development really made it one of the best storm events Ive experienced in the last 10 years.
Sometimes being fringed is better then being hit. Storm structures were amazing today.

During the early hours of the morning, you can distinctly smell the beach here in Jersey City. I dont recall that ever happening.
