    I at once believe that result and also think the GFS is basically worthless at this point. Doesn't have the resolution to do anything more than verify that the high res models are on the right track.

    I'm more in the camp of, if that band actually verified, with the overnight timing, it would probably overpower temp issues. For me it's more that the RGEM is probably overdoing intensity if anything. It's a delicate balance between the eastward pull that folks to the east are rooting for and the moisture that will be robbed as it continues to pull east and redevelop off the Cape.

    Radar looks excellent. Storm is really cranking.

    Snowed heavy for an hour and a half, moderate for a bit, lightening up now. Hoping for another good band before this wraps up.

    This. If this line breaks down, not sure what heavy stuff will actually make it. But this is a different beast of bands, so my hopes are still intact.

    That's assuming it makes it up here. Pattern so far has been to break down before reaching the city. However those bands are far more intense than the ones from before.
