    You can see a transfer of energy to the coast on radar. Hopefully this begins to accelerate so the lull doesn't last too long. If we have to wait for the next wave to move in it might be a death knell for temps.

    Yeah this front end thump is looking unlikely. Snowgoose was mentioning how these setups usually backfill faster than modeled so hopefully there isn't much of a lull. But for the time being, not looking likely for that either.

    NAM/RGEM now very similar. Might lean toward the high res at this point. Hopefully they're a tough warm.

    Very true I've seen this happen many times. For those talking about the NAM's performance, it was awful for the early December 'event'. Although in recent years I think it's done' quite well.

    Someone else here has been closely tracking growth signatures. This has been a killer this season, along with marginal temps. Still thinking 0-2" for the immediate metro.

    Not sure how people are seeing 2-4 when QPF doesn't even get above .3 in some spots and temps are marginal. This is 1-3 at best, my guess is coating-2. (for the immediate metro)

    On roads or grassy surfaces? Not one flake stuck to the pavement here and I'm pretty close to you. Overall it was pretty to look at, but a little bummed, mainly because the forecast rates never really materialized.

    Using your eyes, I'd say there's a zero percent chance we get 4 inches in DC.
