  1. Was going to pull the snow blower out tonight because I haven’t had to start it in three years and I know the carb is probably gummed up, but at this point my 3-6” prediction might not even happen. I’m not gonna bother pulling it out.
  2. I say screw zone is south of Elizabeth and east of Edison, because live there, however every one of these events brings me the screw zone.
  3. Me being in eastern middlesex across from Staten Island I’m assuming we will have mixing issues as usual.
  4. How’s it look for coastal middlesex county, I’m on the east side of Port Reading. Usually with these types of setups with the runs ticking NW we almost always never get much snow and usually turns to all rain.
  5. Just enough rain to wet the ground here in Port Reading.... got dark, radar showed some red but nothing really.
  6. At a BBQ and it is now actually cold sitting here. Temp dropped to about 55 and the winds have picked up. Terrible give me the heat!!
  7. Just a thought but what were the past summer JJA seasons like temp wise when both April and May ended up well below normal which seems more and more likely this year?
  8. @bluewave Will this summer be wetter then last summer. I mean June 19 had 5.46” and July 19 was 5.77” Aug was a bit dryer at 3.70” Itll be crazy if it’s wetter.
  9. Pretty much the same as 17,18, and 19 Man I wish we could get out of this terrible winter summer pattern.
  10. But I think April 09 had a mid 90s heat wave at the end of the month. May wasn’t great but it wasn’t cold. June 09 had about 20 days of rain and clouds, terrible month don’t remember cold cool yes. Then the last week of June 09 we roasted into the 4th.
  11. It’s unfortunately almost mid May and I haven’t had a spring feeling at all this year so far. Just haven’t had the weather to do outdoor stuff yet and always feel the need to have a sweater. At 44 I can’t remember a spring with such lack of heat.
  12. I usually am getting calls already for AC summer cleanings, startups, givin the current situation I understand that’s going to be low, however the weather isn’t helping either. Will probably have to wait till almost MMD now. Nothing going right for me this year, the super mild winter bit hard into my heating calls, basically hardly worked in February and March, then Covid hit I ended up getting it in March had somewhat of a mild case. Then April came and the weather decided it wanted winter again lol and now it looks as if we’re going to set records for cold into mid May. Smh
  13. Winds have to be gusting to 40+ here in Port Reading. Had to lower the flag pole!!
  14. So basically a redo of the last 6 years, it’s like the pattern has been on repeat since that blistering hot first half of July 2013. Actually seems to have gotten worse the last 4. Unbelievable because my business counts on the weather.
  15. Givin our luck I say welcome to the normal weather for the next 50-60 days......unbelievable, ever dang year
  16. #9 school side of Port Reading, I’m gonna say an inch of slush on the paved and concrete surfaces, and a bit more super wet snow on the grass and cars. We never get snow over here.
  17. Unfortunately the new R410a refrigerant really drops off it’s cooling efficiency above 90-95 and really drops above 100 degrees, where it wouldn’t even faze R22 until around 135 degrees.
  18. For years we stayed at the Nomad motel across from the Sand Dune motel, however that suffered from the condo craze and was demolished for townhouses back in 2006. Stayed at the Sand Dune in the early 80s back to the Nomad, have stayed at Diamond Crest, the Compass, the Bristol, the Villa Nova and lately we’ve been staying at the El Coronado which I like very much. We love it here. My mom is here too actually, she is at the Wikiki Motel.
  19. Yep parents brought me here for my first time in July 1976 at 6 months old, been going ever since, now with my own family. The next three weeks will be even more crowded as it’s the in season height. Fog has finally cleared..... and it’s HOT on this beach!!
  20. Hard to see the surf from only 40-50 yards away, low tide is around 3 pm.
  21. Wildwood Crest currently 88/74 dp still decently heavy fog, I guess the marine layer is strong today, ocean temps are a bit cooler but it’s refreshing.
  22. Been in Wildwood Crest all week, it was a great week for the beach and the ocean was walk in warm. Today it is so far 82 but completely foggy and 77 DP so it’s already becoming uncomfortable. Leaving for home tomorrow.
  23. The current weather is killing me, I do like hot weather but that’s not even the kill it’s the lack of good weather to start any outdoor projects. Last year by this time I already had 1000 miles on my bike I have less then 100 this year because I don’t like to ride in rain or get caught in it for that matter. Cleaning is a nightmare. We’ve had no BBQs yet. I’m sure September will be hot and beautiful though lmao. Anyway anyone one want to predict how many 90 degree days we’ll see this month, I’m guessing maybe 1 if we’re lucky. Wasn’t 96 or 97 one of those summers where we only had 9 or 10 90s the whole summer?
