  1. You should be happy that auto-correct left this alone or else you would be in the doghouse for awhile.
  2. Went for a run around 6, got soaked then it switched to off/on pounding sleet. Fun.
  3. Damage to property already! Will fEMA cover the green lawn furniture?

One thing to also consider is whether you like big storms or lots of little ones. For instance, Woodford VT in far southern VT jackpots on virtually every coastal storm whereas things up in the NE of Vermont frequently get shadowed by the Whites in some of the bigger storms. In the 7 years I lived in Peacham we never got more than 15 inches in a storm but a couple years ago here in Norwich we got 18 inches twice int the same week but in Peacham there were times when in snowed everyday for weeks on end.
  6. We had enough to whiten the parts of the ground which had been in the shade when the sun was warming things in the AM. It is almost all melted now.
  7. See my reply, just go back a couple of hours on the youtube video you posted
  8. Very true, just go back 10 hours on the above video to see. It only really started whitening the roof about an hour and a half ago.
  9. After spitting rain for the last few hours, it is trying to switch back over to snow as it picks up. I imagine it is all snow a bit higher up in elevation
  10. Any idea on what the surface pressure is with the storm at the moment?
  11. And a whole bunch of Crossover Small SUVs other that Rav4 and very dorky boxy Foresters?
  12. Just measured a fresh inch, snow is lighter now
  13. Snow has been steady all afternoon, ground is white. Big big winter incoming!
  14. Snowing here, not sticking (yet)
  15. Hail and thunder here too.
  16. Big big winter incoming!
  17. I had my dog into the vet for her booster shots a couple of weeks ago and the vet was saying they had already been out in this area for a week or two at that point. I remember when I first lived in central Vermont I took the dogs into the woods and long grassed fields twice a day for 7 years and never once pulled a tick off either of them. Now we worry about them with snow still around.
  18. So the NAM did the best for the north? Did any others get the big amounts up to the border, esp in VT?
