  1. Got an additional 1.7 inches last night bringing my storm total to 7.6 inches in Chadds Ford Township, just north of the Northern tip of DE.
  2. Any of these storms are far better than last year. We have to be grateful. We will most likely have an above average winter now.
  3. Strange.....I noticed that the temperatures have actually risen over the past few hours. It was much colder when it was sleeting here. What is causing that? Chadds Ford, PA.
  4. Where in Northern DE do you live? I live one mile south of Route 1, in Chadds Ford Township, Delaware County (one mile south of the Chadds Ford Township Bldg.)
  5. Where do you live? I live just 2.5 miles north of the border in Chadds Ford, PA, one mile south of Route 1.

  8. Wow, here in thee Western Suburbs of Philadelphia south of West Chester does better than I thought. I may not get screwed over after all.
  9. Still waiting for my first flakes here north of the DE state line in PA. That dryslot is concerning for DCA.

  11. The front end has been trending wetter and wetter. Should be thumping tomorrow at this time.
  12. I believe the changing climate is helping larger storms to form with more moisture. But there are also longer periods with no snow happening.
  13. Anyone worried about the second part of the storm from the Noreaster? The Mid-Atlantic AmericanWX group is getting worried that the second half of the storm will be a dud.
  14. I'm starting to get worried about the second half of the storm here in SE PA.
  15. This storm is like the ones in the dreaded 2006/07 winter where the sleet would expand to cover the whole region (Valentine's Day storm of 2007).
  16. Got 6 inches of snow in Chadds Ford, PA , then sleet, then a layer of freezing rain, now back to sleet.
