A lot of churn from Erin here in EI, not much wind, water has reached the dunes. Humid as hell and winds direction bringing the flies in force. Need to be on the beach for the breeze to be strong enough to fight them off.

Down in Emerald Isle for the week. Yesterday was gorgeous. Today, surf has picked up, chased some folks off the beach as tide has come in. Some weekend warrior boogie boarders have learned some valuable lessons.

Radar returns suggest it's possible. Once it got dark, accumulation rates seemed to pick up.

Yeah, credit to AKQ as I think they were hesitant to hoist the Warning as far north as they did to include RIC Metro. Probably a bit going back and forth whether a WWA would suffice.

Moderate snow here in Tuckahoe, just took the pug out, he does not like wearing a coat. Just over 1.25" Different pug than the one in the avatar, that's Bogey who I had until 2017.

Yeah, nice band in Tuckahoe area right now. Maybe at 1/2" to 3/4"

21, feels like 8, early onset has given a nice dusting here. Untreated roads with immediate stickage.

I would say the airport has been much better as of late and you have none other than our short timer, RIC Airport, to thank as he helped get this corrected. Since the 1996 debacle, I believe he was integral in getting them to move location of their measuring station.

Can't recall ever closing still under a Watch but I went to HCPS in far different times.

I think they are in the midst of changing...I went to WTVR and NBC12 and maps are either hard to find or taken down for updating.

He is. He also knows the coastal area pretty well. He is the most seasoned remaining once Duncan stepped down and then rejoined 6 part time. Like I said, 12 hugs the Euro like clockwork. I don't watch Zach on 6 too much but he seems to know his stuff as well. Bernier and 8 taut their most accurate award for several years running, I just don't know who awards those. It should be us.
