    Too many variables at this point to pin down anything. Models are notoriously back and forth on forecasts when their dealing with these arctic cold weather outbreaks. By Sunday/Monday we should have a much better idea, need some model uniformity before I take it too seriously.

    Indeed, definitely a strong signal for some wintery possibilities as we head into the Christmas stretch. Having potential in early winter is always a huge bonus. I’m just hoping we can get through the next 24-36 hours without any flash flooding events.. winds have been whipping all day today in east Memphis, you can feel that system pushing in. Fingers crossed we avoid a gully washer

    Pretty intense in Memphis this afternoon as this storm rolled through. Came in fast and the winds were intense.

    Wind is really ripping here at the house. Ran into a few spotty squalls on my way home but other than that the heaviest is still an hour or so away.

    Been a stormy day in west Tn so it’s headed y’alls way. There are a few severe threats popping up this afternoon at the house. Thunder and lightning has been pretty steady the past hour. Picked up a little over an inch of rain so far.

    Can confirm, ripping at the house right now 55 miles east of Collierville. Got about 2 inches on the ground already, it’s coming down steady.

    Temps barely got to 50 in Collierville this morning while I was at work. We were forecast to hit 59. Cold air definitely pouring in quicker than forecasted. I’m headed home now, I’ll update throughout the day To let y’all know how it looks on the west side of the state

    Starting to feel the front pushing into Memphis, wind has been picking up all morning. Starting to really feel the temps changing now. Started out sunny this morning which has transitioned to overcast and cloudy now

    Snow will always insulate it, you’ll be fine. We aren’t covering greens today for this very reason. I wouldn’t stress about it
