  1. Nam was like 10-11, GFS was like 2 or so it looked We need a tickle East on gfs by go time and we should be golden by noon , otherwise wagons a bit W
  2. Haha well I went back and deleted it , bc I realize it was mostly whineminster and he’s gone lol. Your a bit cautious we could say wise , your not in the MPM camp either . Shaking with each 3 hr QPF panel that models roll out . By the way if you clear every 6 hours this will probably be over a foot for you , otherwise ya you may see 15” that turns into 11” mashed taters when you throw a ruler in after .
  3. . I’m suppose to work till noon , the drive back to ASH on NAM would be trouble
  4. That 1/14/08 storm is the first one I “chased” as I had just moved to Burlington after 10 years in Florida . I had just joined the board and I was watching a fire hose go over Rhode Island and someone contemplating about driving to Diamond hill on their birthday . Went out to a snow covered I-90 and took A slippery drive back on I-20 back to 128. Recall there was down to an inch in Weston and Nada East of that . As I was getting home after midnight , I noted these giant Globs of paste falling from The sky like almost tennis ball sized . Biggest flakes I’ve ever seen dropped an inch of snow. Was surreal they weren’t like flakes but almost like giant thick wafers of snow
  5. Euro hit ASH area much harder than GFS Flips us by noon I spy a jack from Ashburnham to Miller state park on that pivotal map Thru Sunday eve with tons of spots doing very well With similar amounts up to Phin
  6. Ya , i stayed in Vermont 2 weekends ago w my GF . Von Trapp lodge. Was very warm and welcoming there (Spruce peak had more militant vibe on phone lol) and just asked that we hadn't had symptoms or been around folks who had.
  7. Mine as well wait till the Euro comes out Take a weenie drive and stay in the Whites at the Glen House. That place is classy and has gorgeous views. 1600' Maples at Warner is in a valley at 400'
  8. That's such an excellently written weenie snow post that captures everything that was going on perfectly. Meanwhile in Raynham, Ma i recall the roar of the trees that nite, i kept opening the sliding door to my back deck in a sort of awe. Woke up to a miserable 2-3" of Pitiful Snow. I turn on the Tv and see one of the Channel 4 Boston Mets listing snow fall amounts from just a bit inland and north of me. I kept checking different sides of my yard wondering if some tress or wind blocked the spot i initially checked. Nope ...Skunked. Thankfully that day , My Father was picking Me up and he took Us sledding in Cumberland RI. I was in awe as we approached the last mile to Diamond Hill. I noticed trees were sagging severely. I couldn't believe how much snow was in the parking lot. It was unreal the difference of being further inland and a couple hundred feet.
  9. Hotel is at about 650' on the dot. Better than where i am lol
  10. ya so basically a later change over is what is being said. On 12z Goofus . 6Z changed over 3 hours earlier
  11. Ya porked us nicely with 0c 925 line regarding changes from 6z. Still close But get me out about 25 miles NW at 1k
  12. Pats peak barely has elevation at base . I have chased that area and wasn’t impressed w elevation ..especially down town .You drive an extra 4o r or so from concord thru honkey tonk Ville and perhaps Gets further west from banding . Maybe , tough call. I like 1K in Temple NH , you cut N at ORH and it’s a faster drive and I think it’s prime for banding . BirchWood inn 1050’
  13. Miller State park over to just West of Manchester NH ( nice 800-900 hills just west of N side of town)
  14. I saw that as soon as hour 27 for my area prob due to initial banding
  15. 6z was a much better run than 0z , 0z didn’t develop earlier , it didn’t develop much at all but was still a couple hairs better than the 18z nam debacle
  16. For the Mets and smarter folks . I notice for the track the winds don’t have much e/ene Inflow at all. Will this place more emphasis on other factors performing or does it just sort of limit dynamic cooling to rates and Not (orographic lift over Orh Hill’s and also not wring out moisture on E slopes . I.E jack could be anywhere it pounds super hard
  17. I do think 128 corridor not that far from water has sneaky bust low potential after 2 pm . As long as big lift isn’t west of that area
  18. I’ll take Savoy to Florida At 1800’+ any day but ya they both rock
