  1. True dat Im left waiting for a last minute W Drag pin on Scott
  2. I didn’t realize SW Texas and adjacent Mexico is getting buried . That must be somewhat rare
  3. ^^Scooter went from pinning W Drag w the 1,2 count..and now (in last couple runs) Walt kicked his leg up and tossed Scott on his side and they are getting up
  4. The later arrival of precip is what killed this for pike area ..given we already knew the airmass was what it was . The precip needed to arrive with the high pressure North or even NNE of Maine . Not some weak sauce high East of Maine a day later That’s why I questioned the title date of the thread , 31’st ? Things changed and the later start moved the frozen line North
  5. The winter is trending toward week sauce but we shall c . Maybe we can see epic pattern in April and May again ha
  6. 0z gfs has 995 LP near Great Lakes Sat am 6z has 1004 LP (Much weaker ) at same time
  7. The high slipping East usually doesn’t not slip back west in my recollection . I will likely be in Jackson,NH so I *should be good to go unless this craps the bed
  8. Do adirondacks tend to steal the snow in these set ups for folks South of Waterbury, VT (in greens )
  9. Hadn’t looked at this but enjoyed the back and forth posts Is the date for this thread off, I don’t see any precip on 31’st and none prior to 5pm Jan 1 And most is Saturday early am Jan 2...and by the time precip reaches here the Euro has the high pressure gone (East of Maine ) with return South flow and we are talking about ice ...in SNE this could still trend to a terd
  10. This is a entertaining morning of posts . Jerry needs to drive to Weymouth and give Scott his THC/CBD mix.
  11. Gyx had a graphic that showed Washington having 10” depth and Concord, Nh 17”. I imagine that is unusual thou I figure the Washington measurement is subject to the wind blowing the snow away? Between this cutter and models showing something similar Potential NYE it’s really a groin kick (I hope NYE can trend flat) 0z euro took a triple point under SNE
  12. What a disaster conditions will be on Saturday . Mountains will be reporting “frozen granular” and some folks won’t realize that means “don’t ski - icy AF” half the time . Mountains don’t seem to want to say “it’s Xmas weekend, don’t give us your money today , it’s dangerous” Folks who work in the medical center on the slopes must just be waiting for some narly accidents those mornings. I recall being at Stowe after a relatively rare freezing rain storm on the mountain a day and a half before ( about 2 Full years ago ) and I was checking into the lodge and I saw 3 people in basically body casts checking out And 2 talking about the conditions the afternoon before And now they were heading to Boston Hospitals .
  13. Which makes it incredibly impressive that folks near Binghamton had 40”’of snow depth The morning of a storm that began 14 hours earlier
  14. Took a hour drive north from Nashua today Around 11am on highway First noticeable increase is when you enter Concord, NH . The Trees were just caked w Powder . Drove another 15 miles north to the Rest area near the Northfield , NH border. Parked and took a walk . Was gorgeous winter wonderland with snow just below the kneecap. Drove another 10 miles north And saw a couple vehicles in driveways buried still , and then turned around Headed south and grabbed AYCE Sushi (made to order) in MHT. Good times .
  15. Looks Like 128-495 wants to snow a little more w that radar
  16. What a awesome surprise for C NH over to south central VT and soon to be parts of South central Maine You never see models bust like this inside 18 hours forecast 4-6” and grab up to 30” .
  17. Looks like an all timer for BGM Wsw into N central PA
  18. Yup, everything shifted so far NW, you got in big low level forcing
  19. Central Pa to Binghamton will have some 30” plus lollipops That’s from poster 2001kx 3 hours ago who says he cleared car when it had 5” on it
