  1. Day 5? At 84 hours its 30 miles from MTK
  2. Oh def this could hook west or to be honest it isn’t that Far East of OBX at day 3 right now
  3. I think the envelope for timing is almost as interesting as well Some of the models that get this up here faster before slowing w a NW turn would be 24 hours ahead of NHC map (which is not unheard of at this time frame ) but would pose issues potentially
  4. Nammy would be a cane and takes it toward montauk or so If you extrapolate out to 87 hours . I.E 5 am Sunday am
  5. In this case the euro isn’t picking up much of a circulation, I think the resolution is more of an issue With euro /Henri because of the storms small size, it’s nearly missing it, and I’m not sure if this effects the model handling the steering flow and trough interaction due to that
  6. Ukie is a crush job 964 s of mvy 977 into cape moving slow
  7. Nothing to see here , just the gfs taking a cane here Sunday . Zzzz boring
  8. Ukie 965 on Saturday pm well off the Delmarva along 69W can hear the swells breaking already by Newport mansions
  9. Big big surf on 12z gfs Swells building from 4 to 6 feet Friday -Saturday S coast then 8-10 feet at 10 seconds by Sunday on S and SE facing Exposed Coastlines of S coast and Outer cape * (big if ) Henri moves near 39/68
  10. Models definitely improved the swell outlook on last runs, thou euro was most modest with Henri development looks like the gfs sort of gives Henri a shot in the arm of additional “energy” sat am and Ukie was also significantly stronger. windy.com is a very cool site for swell , just click waves on right side of screen and then scroll thru the different model output . You can adjust a point by clicking and monitor the predicted size
  11. I always have some cash on me . Got some hidden like the Italians like to do
  12. Steve , May sneak a waist high swell at SE facing spots Tue-Thursday from that thing near Bermuda that is now “code red” a NHC
  13. Was baking on the sand , then in water for 30 mins and then felt chilled off , ate downtown later and was sat in the sun , wanted to shoot someone but just cooked some more
  14. This was a perfect day at the beach in Newport . 80 and full sun with offshore winds . Felt plenty summery
  15. I don’t think I could go over 56 or so without being heavily heavily impaired
  16. My guess is mid 90’s His velocity should be 97-98
