  1. I would chase it but I can’t . IF I had early next week off and it landfalls outside of Marshland or a large city then I would have contemplated that .
  2. I believe the total recalls are up to 2 million for the engine issue between the companies various models effected . That’s gotta be crippling them financially
  3. Had the car for 5 years with zero problems until the ...engine went . I’m just relieved it was covered .
  4. Kia Optima - several years . I believe other Hyundai and Kia models as well
  5. I got a new one but yes I kept it , I owe a few grand on it and nobody is buying a car with a seized engine so I just held and hoped the recall would help me out . So when I get it back in a week , I gotta add new tires and touch up a couple things And detail it to get best sales price , but It is a huge turn around from seized engine on car with a 120k miles to new Factory engine .
  6. Non weather related last month I blew my car engine , there just happened to be a open recall on engine seizures , and Dealer notified me today a brand new engine Was approved under warranty .
  7. I think the gulf and Caribbean as well as “just off east coast will be the hot spots for development
  8. I would watch the gulf by the weekend and Caribbean and SE coast by mid next week
  9. Well , I’m “upstream” in Nashua and it literally just went across my phone

  12. You and tippy May share more than one fetish. Slide into his DM’s and see where things go?
  13. Quiet for next week or so then things turn up violently by sept 7
  14. Henri is just gonna be meandering around the region looking for a Decent croissant
  15. I hear the weather is bad in turkey as well
  16. A few goats in Savoy reported seeing a fellow goat sliding down a hill into a embankment
  17. I’d say SW coastal RI was biggest impact area
  18. Was there any emergency vehicles stopping people . I wish I knew it would be such easy access
  19. The sign slapped him pretty good . He looked like a perfectly respectable fellow ...
  20. Eweather on Twitter has good action from Point Judith and SW coast of RI apologies for long imbed links but it’s solid
  21. Cliff walk is the spot . Right by the breakers Was in Newport late last nite then bailed on hotel . I wanted to be there for the 8am high tide but I also wanted it to be fairly dry and more ahead of the core . Wasn’t a big enough storm for me to chase for winds but Saturday nite that spot had 20 surfers of all ages and was a cool set up to watch . The usual waves breaking against the sea wall (that it past the cliff walk ) there is entertainment as it’s a high traffic spot on cliff walk and people just get hammered every few minutes thinking that part of cliff walk will be wave free
  22. Block island is in it per radar . Let’s see if that western side of the inner core can hold up another hour or two and see what obs it Brings. That would be the damage zone
