you’ll probably get another one or two 2-3 inchsnowstorms before it’s all set and done. That’s your winter this year. No big one coming to save annual total meanwhile, out in Bozeman, I’ve never seen so much snow. at least 4 feet of snow on the ground and while I’ve seen that in the mountains, I’ve never really seen that in a town before. We had another 6 inches last night and the sky finally cleared.

What are you talking about? Adirondacks having a spectacular season. Im at Belleayre every week with 100 percent terrain open the entire winter Been the best season in the NE in several years…todays ice and wind aside

A little too warm at JFK to stick one surfaces not grass. Very unusual to land on 22s in the snow. Maybe a first. But we have a southwest wind

Well, at this point, all we could do is take a day at a time and we have the next one up which looks like a suppressed system with a fringe The nice thing about snow cover that’s laced with ice is that it’s harder to melt. That will be our friend this week.

just drove down from Westchester to Jfk. clearing my driveway at home solid 4 or 5 inches with an icy crust on top. Stopped at the parents in Whitestone to clear them. I would say at most 2-3 icy inches. sorry the measurements aren’t precise, but I am on my way to work and it’s early. A surprisingly good little storm for Queens and for all really

just to add there is nothing unflyable about any of the weather moving in. If they don’t cancel the flight, just go through the deicing period and she’ll be fine. More annoying than anything else. this isn’t a door slamming event like a blizzard or or a hurricane where things are gonna shut down

I don’t understand the hysteria on this thread. My forecast hasn’t budged from national weather service or AccuWeather at all. I think you guys are getting too caught in slight shifts in the models. Secondly, I just sold nuts outside of a supermarket in Hastings for two hours…. Thank you, Boy Scouts…. Nothing hysterical at the supermarket at all. Typical saturday Thankfully, the general public is less hysterical than the people posting in this forum.
