  1. It’s just weather pal. Nobody has any control over it. Enjoy the Soto signing and the holidays
  2. Absolutely agree. But I do think we get a nice coastal this year. Better than driving west for the snow to go up 15”…
  3. Miller Bs better for us than Miller As out in Suffolks. So I’m ok with the transfer…just kill the primary and early
  4. Miller B out here. Let’s get a stall out by block island. Maybe retrograde to Montauk?
  5. Pattern looks good for January. Best in a while. Just get us a coastal please. No more cutters and SWFE. TIA
  6. That’s not a bad idea. Always a pain taking the gloves off to pick up the poop. 15 now
  7. Made it to 21. Thinking we get down to 8-9 tonight out here
  8. 15 this morning. Nice to see the holiday decorations in the snow.
  9. Never made it above 30 today, dropping back into 20s now, so this snow will be around until at least Tuesday
  10. 3” for the season now is probably about average for December around here. Bodes well for the rest of the winter. 28 and steady light snow continues
  11. We will see how much of this melts today. Suppose to get to 33/34 so we everything on pavement will melt. Probably will only have patches left in the shade by evening
  12. Eh. Forecast was 1/2” and we got 2”+. That’s not really “noise” when it comes to snowfall forecast for a light event. 1/2” v 2” matters much more from a travel perspective. 2” is much more disruptive than 1/2”
  13. Yes a nice surprise for the island. The HRRR showed this in its later runs, but didn’t show 2-3” for Nassau/Suffolk.
  14. Snow plow keeps going by but it’s seems unnecessary…maybe worried about ice later? Road sounds like it’s taking a beating
  15. 2 inches in Suffolk. Not a single model showed that. Pleasantly surprised! Snow continues and it’s 28. feels like years since it’s snowed when it’s been below 30 degrees
  16. At least whatever falls will stick. Temp dropping to freezing now and dew at 30., so we can wetbulb to around 31
  17. Two schools of thought…run it out or keep adding stabilizer. For the snowblower i run it out. For the boat I keep the tank full and add stabilizer after the final fill up.
  18. One day we’ll get another Juno/Nemo storm out here, until then the snowblower remains in the back of the garage without gas…
