No way. Port Jeff is well over an hour on the train. It’s 65 minutes to Penn from Huntington which is well west on the same line. I think it’s a 90 minutes train ride

There is nothing to miss about Nassau. I lived there for 5 years. Suffolk kicks its ass. Smithtown area also great for snow. One you get further northeast east you are in no man’s land and getting to the city becomes a real hike

Bunch of 5” reports from Commack/hauppauge/smithtown area. Verifies my 4.8” measurement perfectly. This area usually finds a way to clean up.
