I Luv the winter and I love the snow ,,,,,I don't mind it being cold so long as it snows---> that said Im done = screw this winter lets try and get a do over next year as Mother Nature now owes us for this year and last year and hopefully she makes good on it. I am getting into Spring mode lets open the pools work in the yards and get away from this God forsaken winter ASAP

88, I'm out,,,,,,done brother . I won't believe anything the models show until I see it happen. Bring on pitchers and catchers and we can try this again next year.

88 and AllSnow, the GFS showing a storm and the time frame is over a week away ? = Although I would love for this to verify = sorry guys I aint buying it until it is MUCH closer to the event ( as the sky has fallen more than snow has this winter ). Lets get past this weekend first

I am a novice and I totally understand that there are many moving parts that must come together for this weekend to work out well for snow lovers.The way the winter has gone with these models = the only time I want to be in the bulls eye is on the day of the storm. The models that have shifted "way" West or OTS could easily show us different solutions in 24 or 48 hours. Lets see what the later runs today have to say, with 4 days to go yet A LOT can happen.

I went to the Catskills for a few hours this morning and temps hovered between 34 and 30 all the way ---- trees looked like glass,,,,,,,,,,on the way home it was sleeting pretty good but eventually it turned to rain and all wet. I got home a short while ago and it was sleeting outside my house here in New City and the deck was / is pretty slick

Pruf I will let you know when I get there as that is the plan but I believe you are mistaken as I can just about guarantee you that I will not only miss snow tremendously but when I am in Florida in the months of July and August and there is not enough baby powder in the world to take care of how moist I will be we can relive this conversation now back to how damn cold it is out there today.

I have to tell ya Pruf I have lived in Rockland over 20 years and I NEVER GET SICK OF THE SNOW. The thought of moving to Florida seems depressing to me.

Yes Liberty exactly,,,,,I remember back then my dad brought home one of those hand held weather radios all you got on it was a recorded weather announcement for a few areas and I would listen to that for hours as a kid. They would update the recorded message every so often back then it was state of the art now its comical

I used to love watching and listening to Alan Kasper on ch2, he was a really good weather man and a snow weenie as he would outwardly hope for snow while doing his forecast.

I was already out of High School and tossed from 2 colleges,,,,,,well not really the first one tossed me the 2nd one I dropped out myself with dignity lol. No matter how you slice it 88 you missed one hell of a storm in 78
